Hi Dave,
I wanted to thank you again. Meeting and chatting with you at the Vix Bass Camp this year was a treat. The camp really opened up my playing and it is still on-going. I’m working on my reading – I have a Hal Leonard Real Book in bass clef and have been using it. I find songs that I know the melodies to and then play them, reading the notes while I sing them to myself. Not only has it seemed to help my reading, I find that on stage when soloing I am starting to be able to sing a riff and play it. Pretty cool! Thanks again and I hope you are having a great summer.
Hey Dave,
I really enjoyed your contribution to the camp this week. Mostly it was your straight forward answers to questions.
Anyway when you get a chance. Please send me the “Sight Reading” packet you mentioned. I look forward to getting to work.
Thanks again for your contribution to a great week. I consider your’s as one of the highlights.
